Abi started her Life @ HDN back in March 2019 joining what was our soon-to-be-opened brand new Fareham setting.

Life @ HDN chatted to her about her role with Hopscotch and what she is planning next....

Life: What qualifications and/or experience did you have working with children prior to your position at Hopscotch? 

Abi: Level 3 - I had previously had a child myself however I had never worked in a setting. During the last year I have now progressed to Level 4. 

Life: Describe your average day at nursery and what roles and responsibilities you undertake.

Abi: Having fun supporting all the children in the room to learn and thrive by planning stimulating activities to encourage their next steps. 

Life:  What is your most favourite part of working at Hopscotch, and why? 

Abi: Supporting children of all abilities

Life:  Where would you like to take your career next? 

Abi: I am looking forward to finishing my foundation degree in 2021. I will then move on to Level 6 and my BA Hons, before doing teacher training.
