Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee on the Solent
Hello, I am Sophie Connell, the Manager of Hopscotch Day Nurseries at Lee on the Solent. I have been in childcare for over 15 years, joining Hopscotch in 2007, quickly falling in love with their ethos and values which very much mirrored my own.
The nursery offers a child centred and spacious layout with age specific resources and staff trained for the specific age groups. We are very lucky to have a layout of the nursery which allows for total free flow from indoor to outdoor areas with each of our age groups having direct access to the outdoor environment. We make the most of our location and use our surroundings to teach the children about the world by visiting the high street, the library opposite and we have our very own Beach school outings too. We are very lucky to have a highly qualified and passionate team. We work extremely hard to ensure that the children and families are settled and their well- being is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that each child is unique, and creating an environment where each child is supported to reach their full potential. Working alongside my deputy manager’s, Ami Lewis and Maddie Stevens. Together with our wonderful staff team, we can ensure that we offer the highest quality of care here at the nursery and that children are reaching all those important milestones. Watching them leave here as confident and independent children ready for school! We are here to support you, as well as your little one throughout their journey, from that initial show around to the first settling sessions.
