Hi, I am Linda the Manager of Eastleigh Hopscotch Nursey. I have been working for Hopscotch since 2011, where I started as a lunchtime assistant in the baby room at our Lee on Solent setting. I moved to our Eastleigh Nursery in 2022 as Deputy Manager to cover maternity leave.

​I am a qualified SENCO, and am here to ensure that all children your child is given the best possible start in their own personal learning journey.

As a mum to 4 children, I understand how important it is to a parent to know that they will be leaving their children in a caring, safe, and secure place. I absolutely love coming to work every day and find it a privilege to be a part of each and every one of our children’s learning and development journey. There is no better start to the day than seeing a child’s smiling face coming through our Nursery door ready for a fun filled day, of exciting and learning rich activities.

My Deputy Manager, Aimee Gray, joined Hopscotch in 2014 at our nursery in Gosport. During her time so far working for Hopscotch Aimee has gained a multitude of experience, from Room Leader to Deputy Manager at a newly opened setting at Portswood giving her the starting point into management and the chance to help establish a brand-new nursery. Aimee enjoys enabling all the children to thrive and grow, from strength to strength during their early years with us. 

Alongside my caring and committed team, I am here to welcome you to our warm and friendly nursery. It is important to all of us that we provide an outstanding nurturing environment, where your child will be given the best possible care, to enable them to thrive and flourish. From your child’s first visit you will become part of our Hopscotch Eastleigh family; we will be here to support and reassure you that we will be looking after and caring for your child to the highest possible standard. We will be there to help them with their first steps, to their last day when they will be leaving us ready for school. Having worked alongside you and your family, to make them into caring, confident, curious learners, giving them the skills, they need to be confident enough to look after their own and others emotional wellbeing, as well as being able to be adaptable in the world they live in.

Through our in-house training programmes I am committed to supporting my staff’s personal development in providing your child with a fun, engaging and suitably challenging day, full of rich learning opportunities.
