Hello, my name is Jodie Parker and I am the Nursery Manager here at our Botley setting.  I have worked in Early Years for 25 years, starting as an apprentice and working in various settings over the years and have spent the last 7 years at a school supporting the SEN children.

I joined Hopscotch in June 2022, and I am very excited to be part the Hopscotch family. I am delighted to be part of the Hopscotch team.

We aim to provide all our children with a rich learning environment, where each child is able to explore and flourish supported by highly skilled, passionate practitioners.

I am passionate about my job, our setting and supporting the children and families in our care. I understand the importance of early years education and finding the best childcare for both your child and yourselves as a family. I am always on hand to provide support for you and your family through the many transitions of nursery; from their very first settling session, potty training, promoting their independence and then onto school.

Kirsty Johnson is my Deputy Manager, together we are passionate about providing the best quality childcare to all our families. We aim to provide the children with a safe and secure environment to enable them to flourish and develop with the support of our team.  We have a team of highly qualified, committed, and passionate staff who believe every child is unique. They provide exciting opportunities for all children to engage in daily and support the children in sharing experiences within a positive environment.

My team and I are looking forward to meeting you and answering any questions that you may have. If you are interested in visiting Botley, please contact us today.

If you are interested in applying to work at our nursery, then please do get in touch with our recruitment team at Head Office on:

"Children are confident and independent. They show fascination and curiosity as they go on bug hunts during forest school activities. They work together to decide how to use natural materials to build a bug hotel, based on what they have learned about bug homes. Staff ask meaningful questions to encourage children to share what they know, and children confidently talk about their prior learning." Ofsted 2023
