Hello, my name is Dani Athersmith, and I am the Nursery Manager at Hopscotch Day Nursery Fareham.
I have been working in early years settings since 2011, starting as an apprentice before qualifying and gaining experience in various environments with children of all age groups. I joined the Hopscotch team in October 2018 at our Botley location, where I began as a practitioner in the toddler room before advancing to senior practitioner. In September 2019, I transferred to our lovely new Fareham setting, taking on the role of Room Leader for U2 and becoming the third in charge. In March 2022, I was promoted to Deputy Manager at Fareham. At Fareham, our team of practitioners is dedicated to creating a stimulating environment where children feel safe and secure, enabling them to learn and develop the skills they need to thrive as they grow. I am particularly passionate about fostering strong partnerships with parents to build trust, ensuring that children feel comfortable and secure while in our care. We understand how challenging it can be to send your child to nursery, and we strive to offer the best possible care, creating a home-from-home experience that aligns with each child's individual routine.
