Welcome to Hopscotch and thank you for considering our nurseries for your childcare needs.  Our team has been providing quality childcare for over 18 years with each of our nurseries offering unique environments specially designed to meet the needs of children at every stage of development - from babies through to children ready for their next early years’ adventures at school. Common to each of our settings is our commitment to provide the highest possible standard of care for your children.

As a mother of three children, my youngest two enjoyed Hopscotch first-hand; my daughter attended Gosport nursery when it opened and my son went to Botley, Lee and Titchfield over the years!  

I very much appreciate the dilemma of selecting childcare that meets the high expectations you have for your child, which at the same time helps you juggle the complexities of modern family life. I know how important making the right choice in childcare is for you.  Only the best is good enough!

We want them to enjoy exploring, discovering and learning in a fun and nurturing environment whilst we support you through this stage of your child’s life.

All of our nursery managers are mothers so we know first-hand how hard it can be returning to work.  Rest assured, you can have confidence in our understanding that you want us to help give your child the best possible start in life.

​Each of our nurseries provides home rooms for our Babies, Waddlers, Toddlers and Preschool children. Our rooms are equipped with the highest quality resources and equipment, all easily accessible by the children to encourage spontaneous play. Each Hopscotch nursery is designed to meet the needs of children of all ages and stages of development and to maximise their care, learning and play opportunities.

We know how hard it is to choose who to care for the most precious thing in your life. Lots of us are mums and dads and we've been through the anxiety, self-doubt, even guilt at the thought that we were abandoning them. We understand. We really do... Freya started Hopscotch way back in 2005 because she could not bear the choices she had then, and her core aims to be a partner to parents through their early years journey is fundamental to what we do everyday.

We also understand that no words on a website, and photos of happy babies are likely to help so we're always here to hear from you.
