Hello, my name is Dawn Forshaw, and I am proud to be joining Hopscotch Day Nurseries as Nursery Manager at Sholing.
I have worked in Early Years for over 25 years and have spent the last 16 years as a Nursery Manager. I have my BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies, a Level 3 in Management, and a Foundation degree and BA (Hons) in Early Years. I am passionate about giving children the best start in life. I wholeheartedly believe that our formative years sets the path for our future lives. If children are offered an exciting, stimulating, and challenging environment to grow in, they will undoubtedly grow into respectful, resilient, ambitious members of society! I believe in the adage “it takes a village”, and therefore parent partnerships are incredibly important to me. I am excited to work alongside our parents, welcoming them into the setting to experience nursery life alongside their children. I am delighted to be working at Sholing alongside an incredibly passionate team, who put the children at the heart of their practice!
