Payment of Fees
Invoices for the following month’s fees are sent via the email address supplied on your child’s registration form around the 20th of each month. The fees are then due by the 3rd of the month. A £5 per day charge will be applied for late fees. It is your responsibility to inform the Nursery of any changes to your contact detail.
We offer 15 hours of funded childcare for all 3 and 4 year-olds from the term after your child’s third birthday. This is based on the stretched funding scheme over 51 weeks, equating to a maximum of 570 hours per year. Please note, an additional services charge is applied to every funded hour your child attends which covers the cost of meals, consumable items, resources, staff training and use of Tapestry software.
We also offer the additional 15 hours of funded childcare for 3 and 4 year-olds. This 30-hour funding has eligibility requirements and parents/carers must ensure that they apply for this funding via the Childcare Choices website at https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/.
The 30-hour funding equates to a maximum of 1140 hours per year. The additional services charge is also applied to these hours.
You will be required to complete Hopscotch’s funding application form which includes your child’s eligibility code which must be verified by the nursery.

If you receive one of the following benefits, your 2-year-old will be entitled to Early Years Funding. This will commence the term after they are two.
Tax Free Childcare
We accept these payments if you are eligible for Tax Free Childcare. You can receive up to £2,000 per year for each child from the government to pay towards childcare fees and for every 80p you pay in, the government will pay in 20p. Any fees due in excess of this maximum amount must be covered in full by the parent/carer.
Please note, if you choose to pay via this method, you cannot also pay with work based childcare vouchers. You can also pay via this method if you are self-employed.
Once your TFC account is set up, each month you must make the required payment into the account for the Government to then make their top up payment. This amount should be the total listed at the bottom of your invoice. Once this is done, you will then need to search for the relevant Hopscotch Nursery by name/reference number and forward the payment to Hopscotch as we do not have access to these TFC accounts. This whole process can take up to 2-3 working days.

If you are already part of a work based voucher scheme these vouchers can be used to pay towards your childcare fees. Most employers choose to operate their childcare voucher scheme via 'salary sacrifice'.
So long as your cash salary does not fall below the National Minimum Wage, you can choose to take Childcare Vouchers as part of your work package.
The Childcare Vouchers are used as a portion of your salary (up to £55 per week or £243 a month) you do not have to pay National Insurance Contributions (NIC) or Tax on that amount. Exactly how much you save depends on how much tax and National Insurance you pay.
Note: that is you do not already have this in place, this option is no longer available as it has been replaced with the Tax Free Childcare Scheme.
Direct debits are taken on the 3rd of each month, or the next working day and the monthly amount will be for the value detailed on your invoice. Vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare arrangements are taken into consideration as a payment towards your fees when the direct debit payment form is completed.
Where there are 2 or more siblings attending, we will require a direct debit in place for each child.
A PDF version to print and complete is available under the 'Links & Resources' list on this page. Once completed, please pass this to your nursery for processing.
Whilst direct debits or TFC accounts are being put in place, on an interim basis, we also accept payment by cash, cheque or card.
Late Collection Fees
We reserve the right to charge £5 for every 5 mins after your child’s booked session has ended.
We offer a discount of 10% for a second child whilst an another sibling is still attending Hopscotch.
