Freya Derrick, Managing Director of Hopscotch Day Nurseries, comments: “I am thrilled to have Neil on board, and he’s already hit the ground running. We have a great maintenance team, so with Neil heading up our facilities and estates management, we can start to tackle the larger building projects we have planned for 2023 and beyond. We have exciting plans to expand Hopscotch into new areas and invest in our current settings. Welcome onboard, Neil!” Neil joins Hopscotch with extensive experience in managing large estate portfolios. Before joining Hopscotch, he was Estates Manager at a school and was responsible for running the maintenance and facilities on a 30-acre site. The role extended to managing the maintenance, grounds, housekeeping, and ancillary teams while delivering Landlord obligations to the 12 residential properties that occupied the school grounds. Before this, he ran a successful property development business providing large renovation projects and new builds. Commenting on his new appointment, Neil Curtis said: “My role as Head of Facilities and Estates is both exciting and challenging. I aim to ensure the Hopscotch estate continues to evolve and deliver flagship nurseries across all our settings. Freya has exceptionally managed all of the Hopscotch settings, including expanding into new sites. I’m excited to be working alongside her to deliver on the aims of the Group to enhance their existing settings and expand into new areas.” |
