Toddlers

24–36 months

Toddlers are full of energy, personality, and growing confidence.
This is a stage of big steps, in independence, communication, and understanding the world around them.

Change feels easier when it’s handled with care

How we support your child

Building independence

Independence becomes more visible. Children choose activities, serve fruit, pour water, and begin managing self-care routines with growing confidence.

Communication & friendships

Language develops into short sentences. Friendships deepen. Turn-taking, sharing, and emotional regulation are supported through modelling and positive reinforcement.

Learning through play

Environments are thoughtfully prepared inside and out. Numbers, colours, shapes, and early problem-solving are introduced naturally through play.

Outdoor learning

Free-flow access to outdoor spaces allows children to explore on a larger scale and connect with the world around them.

Toilet training, together

Toilet training is supported sensitively and in partnership with you. We follow your lead to make the process feel steady and positive.

A gentle transition

As Preschool approaches, we plan ahead. Children visit their new room, meet staff, and build familiarity gradually.
