I started working for Hopscotch in January 2005 as the Cook at our Gosport Nursery. As the Hopscotch family of Nurseries grew my role developed into the group Catering Manager, preparing the menus and recipes for all meals, developing allergy management, promoting healthy eating and supporting the cooks and nurseries in all aspects of catering for the children.
I am passionate about my job and believe in the benefits of feeding children well and try to make this an important and integral part of Hopscotch life. I also plan and implement staff training in a variety of areas to enhance their skills and promote learning outcomes for the children.
In my spare time I love to spend time with my 4 children and their 4 children. I am a keen gardener, and enjoy making home furnishings and decorating. Warm sunny holidays and socializing with friends are also high on the list!
