Starting nursery with your baby is a big step. We understand that.
Our baby rooms are calm, nurturing spaces designed at children’s height, with accessible resources and gentle areas for both quiet rest and sensory discovery. As your child grows and finds their feet, the focus naturally shifts, with more physical challenge, independence, and exploration woven into each day.
From those very first weeks to confident little walkers, our focus stays the same. Secure relationships. Familiar routines. A safe place to grow.
Some of our nurseries have a dedicated Waddler room, giving children at this in-between stage their own space to develop before moving into Toddlers.
How we support your child
A familiar start
Each baby has a dedicated key person who gets to know their rhythms, preferences, and personality. We work closely with you to mirror home routines, from feeding and sleep to comforters and settling. Consistency builds confidence, for both baby and parent.
Learning through connection
At this stage, learning happens through relationships and exploration. Babies observe, respond, and experiment. Through sensory play, language, movement, and responsive interaction, we support early communication, physical development, and emotional security.
Growing independence
As your child becomes more mobile and curious, independence starts to show in small but important ways. Eating together family-style, choosing food, drinking from open cups, selecting activities, and beginning to explore resources on their own — all with gentle guidance from our team.
Outdoor discovery
Fresh air is part of every day. Our safe outdoor spaces give children the chance to explore textures, sounds, and movement in the natural world. Climbing, pushing, and balancing also help build strength and coordination as they grow.
Nurturing nutrition
From bottles and early weaning to freshly prepared meals, everything is made on site. We work alongside you so feeding feels consistent, joined-up, and reassuring at every stage.
Understanding big feelings
As communication develops, frustrations can come with it. We support children patiently through these moments and keep you informed, working together where extra support is needed.
Smooth transitions
Before your child moves on to Toddlers, you’ll receive a clear summary of their development in line with the EYFS two-year progress check. Visits are arranged, new relationships are introduced gradually, and you’re kept informed every step of the way.
