Hello, my name is Jo Currass, and I am the Early Years & Quality Lead for Hopscotch Day Nurseries. I have long been involved with Hopscotch Day Nurseries over the years on a professional and person level. My youngest son was very lucky to attend the Gosport branch shortly after it opened, and we love looking at old learning journeys and talking about the happy days he spent at nursery.
I have worked within the early year’s environment for over 30 years having held a variety of leadership roles. Over the years I have managed 6 nurseries. In addition to nursery management, I also spent time working for the Health Visiting service supporting the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme. Being keen to keep myself up-date date and relevant on all things childcare and development related I have continued my professional development to enable me to better for fill my role whilst also supports others. I am extremely passionate about supporting all children to achieve in a safe, exciting, stimulating, and nurturing environment which enable children to flourish and thrive in all areas of their development. Which is why it is such a delight to work for such a child centre early years provider at Hopscotch Day Nurseries.
